I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I am officially in love, er, or at least, I have a giant sized crush on Eva, the crazy, sexually aware and downright hysterical best friend. I had to get that out of the way 😛 because I didn’t miss the fact that the author is really good friends with another fantabulous author, who I happen to know and adore in real life too 😉 The relationship between Peyton and Eva is so refreshing and absolutely what every girl wants and most definitely needs in the BFF land, trust me, no topic is off limits.

I started out really loving Peyton, loving the concept of her going “undercover” and the potential the story line had to offer. On that aspect, I was not disappointed, and it was incredibly amusing to read how poor ól Weston was being tortured by the controlling and uptight Penny and then burned and rejected by the insecure and vulnerable, Peyton. Peyton’s self discovery, ahem, her personal growth, was nothing short of hysterical, I giggled throughout her solo exploits 😉 and lets not forget her correspondence with Stewie (insert serious face here) buahahaha

Having said that though, I did not think that the story needed the additional plot line with Peyton’s past, and sometimes it didn’t make sense why she would suddenly think about it. Their story and chemistry was enough to keep you turning the pages.

My expectation of Weston was exactly what Peyton’s thesis was supposed to be about, that attractive men from wealth and privilege, and or the typical “jock” have no real substance and are given chances in life that not everyone else, who is intelligent and talented will get. I expected an arrogant, conceited asshole, and as the story unfolded, Weston was the complete opposite. Personally, I did think that his “goodness”was taken a little too far, but I see where the author was going with it.

Weston and Peyton’s story is a sweet romance with a serious dash of steamy sex. A 4 star read with a little spice.
